Hi

I recently replaced my elderly neighbours old shower as it had packed up, however the new model doesn't work which initially I took back to argos and bought another one so chance if 2 not working is slim .

I posted my query here

//www.diynot.com/forums/plumbing/problems-installing-shower.324373/#2403467

And a reply states it sounds more like the electrics, what would it cost to have this looked at ? To quote for my neighbour .

Or with a multimeter are there any tests I can do to either say YEs definately electrics or no the electrics are fine .

Thanks

Try asking back in the electricals, that is what they do.

You need to check for the correct voltage at the switch and at the shower, are you qualified to do this? Know what you are looking for?

As above go back to the electricals.

You were given guidance - what is the answer to their questions? Is there a stable supply at the switch?

Just so you know, you ought not to be doing the work unless you know what you are doing. Just saying......before BAS pops up.

I'm not the one who should be worrying.

Plus, he ought to stop tampering further.
