We have an old farm house.

The radiator brackets are found to be rusting away in most rooms.

In fact, one bracket dropped completely from behind the rad onto the floor.

Is there a stainless steel or non rustable bracket I can use or perhaps feet I can attach?

The brackets I have replaced previously have lasted about a year before starting to rust.

Why are your walls so wet that 1.5mm galvanised steel rusts away so quickly?

The walls are not wet but the humidity in the house without the dehumidifiers running is around 80-90% on average.

They are metre thick stone walls.

as the brackets are galvanised steel, they withstand damp conditions for quite a long time.

You can paint them, and they will last even longer.

If the walls are that wet, use stainless screws and washers. They are not expensive in Screwfix, but you can buy small packs on ebay.
