Hi.we took the radiator off the wall while decorating. Just put it back on but the volve cap is turning free so cannot open it to serculate the water.can you take these caps off so we can open it with spanner and put the cap on afterwards. I have tried to to pull it up but it's stubborn.is there any technic to take it off.valve cap has flat square top and plus minus arrow direction written on it.

As above, and you should have counted the number of turns to turn it off, and turn it on the same amount, to make sure it is still balanced afterwards. But it's a bit late for you, maybe it will help someone else
