Radiator Capacity for Hall & Landing

How do you go about deciding how to adjust (if at all) the calculated output requirements for hall and landing radiators when they are connected by an open staircase.

As heat rises, I assume that the landing will benefit from heat rising from the hall, and the hall will be colder than it should be without an adjustment.

Just treat them as separate rooms in their own right.

Depending on what method you are using you can state what the temperature is above and below the area you are working on.
