Hi all

I have a 2 zoned heating system (oil) upstairs and downstairs.

I would like to keep the bathroom warmer than the rest of the upstairs as we like cold bedrooms.
at present i am using timed thermostatic wall controllers but am wondering if i could somehow individually control each radiator?

we have TRV's but to be honest they seem an absolute waste of time !
I have found the HONEYWELL HR80UK CM ZONE RF TRV HEAD which might do the job although i'm not sure how it works nor do i think its timed?

what i would reallyu like to do is leave the system on all the time but have
individual control of each radiator - is that possible?

all advice would be appreciated

thanks
Mike

A TRV on the bedroom radiators is the way to go. Perhaps yours have siezed open?
Make sure the bathroom one is fully open because once everything up to temp you want the heating to go off and you also dont want all the rads to be shut off and the pump still running.

Thanks all

why would the trv's be affected by the balancing please?

when i say they are useless i mean that say if you have them set to no' three and thats normally ok - then when you get an extra cold day the room is colder? and we have to turn them up. surely thats wrong?

thanks again
