I'm looking to replace an existing radiator that I have no idea how long it's been installed in the house. It appears to be 1520mm in length (from end to end) and 610mm high.

Would a replacement 1500mm radiator be a suitable replacement without having to alter the pipework (assuming distance from the wall is OK).

you can by extension piesces that will extend the valves if needs be.

Hang on you two, hes from Cardiff he might need me don't tell him too much

Apologies for the bad link

You will have to use the link and search under Plumbing/central heating/radiator valves to find the parts required.

loads of work up 'ere in Manchester sime10- no need to chase customers. Traffic's sh*t tho'

On their website do a search for 'radiator extension pieces' and the first hit should say 'diverter valves' or something.
Click on this and look to the bottom of the page for a range of extension pieces.
You will have to work out which type and length suits your situation- depends on whether u are extending a TRV or normal lockshield valve as to which type to use.

The first ones shown (called adjustable) are for extending where the valve is a 3/4" union.

the second ones are for TRV's as it says.

the third type (non adjustable) are for either type of valve.

Hope this helps.

Ok, who can tell me where I can find a 1500mm wide radiator.... Everything seems to be either 1400 or 1600mm in length :(
