Hi i have a radiator which is not centred and i would like it to be centre out on the wall. Is this a big job?
i was thinking of stopping the hot and cold water and then cut the two pipes and move them using pushfit
is this possible?

Thanks

Are you covered for flood damage?

You obviously don't understand what is involved so would recommend you get a plumber in

So what do you stop ?

or do i just release all the Pressure

Let the water out of the heating system
cut out the old
put in the new, yes you can use pushfits if you must
fill it up again
adding corrosion inhibitor co you will have lost it.

OK?

ok you will need to drain the central heating

look for a tap with a small square head and a spout with ridges on for a hose
usually downstairs

1turn the system off
2 drain water out
3 move rad use pushfit no probs
4 fill system making sure drain tap is closed and the motorised valves are locked on manual (lever on valve head )

5 vent and top up pressure (silver braided pipe )
6 switch on
7 post if you get stuck
:)
