Simple question for you all

A. 8 mm bore copper feeding single fin rad has STD LC and non trv ends as it's the one nearest the thermostat
Using infrared temp unit
Feed temp is 52 degr C exit temp 30 degr C with both valves fully open

Rest of system perfectly balanced

LC tap can be turned off as inlet pipe temp drops

Non trv end can also be turned off as temp drops on exit pipe

Can all this be due to sludge build up??

It may be a simple question, by I don't understand it.

What is a: STD LC? Sexually Transmitted Disease (of) Long ****???

And what exactly is the problem?

Ok, so what is a "STD" lockshield? (LC for lockshield    )
And more importantly, what is the problem?

Basically why doesn't the rad heat up when the outlet is fully open and the inlet is hot. The temp of the rad max is 38 degr c it should be about 50 c like the others

So my question is what is causing the rad not to get hot?

Take the rad off and flush it out..
