Hi guys - newbie on the forum. I need some help. I have a plasterer coming in the morning to plaster my bedroom. He asked me to remove the radiator myself which I have now done. I bought two 15mm blanking caps from B&Q but only one of them fit (the thermostat side). the other side is bigger but lord knows why
I have a combi boiler and the radiator is upstairs (on same level as boiler). I do not plan on having my central heating on overnight but obviously planned on leaving the boiler on and not draining the whole system so we still have water.
The lockshield valve is closed as tight as I can get it. My question is - As there is no blanking cap on lockshield valve - is there a chance that it can leak overnight? I have no concerns about the thermo side as that is now blanked off
Please help quickly so I can either put the rad back on or sleep easy with it off
Thanks
Simon
