just short update.
The original installer still ignoring me.
Baxi support will kindly send one of their own engineers to check the installation. For private reasons this will be a few weeks from now. IF they identify any faults, they will then advise how to proceed. They confirmed that generally TBOE would be suboptimal IF flow is at bottom, and as they have not yet seen my setup they did not want to comnent further.
They will also check filter status, were slightly opaque on when a "must" is a requirement or a "best practice". But I also now notice the British Gas Boiler service report, which I did not know existed but was found when I logged into their website, includes a tick in the Yes box next to "Magnetic system filter checked". Maybe there is a filter somewhere, or a line strainer, or that refers to something else, or ... I guess I'll find out when Baxi guy is there.
