Radiator Tails...

Hi,

I've just bought a new vertical radiator to put in out kitchen, which requires a TRV/lockshield set to be purchased.

The description for the radiator says 1/2" BSP inlet.

Does this mean I need to find a TRV/lockshield that is 15mm (Our pipework size) by 1/2"? Or will a 15mm x 15mm set work?

The tappings on the radiator will be 1/2" BSP female thread. The radiator valves will be supplied with tails that have a 1/2" male thread to screw into the rad (need to be sealed with PTFE tape).

To confirm, can I basically purchase any trv/lockshield kit and they will come with 1/2" tail threads? So something advertised as 15mm x 15mm would be suitable?
