Radiator too close to wall

I've recently had a bedroom completely dry-lined as the old lath and plaster was in a bad way. This involved fixing new plasterboard over the top and screwed to the studs. Now that I want to re-hang the radiator, I have realised the valves are too close to the wall as it is now some 12-15mm thicker. One valve/pipe has enough play but the other one is too rigid. Is it possible to get slimmer brackets for the radiator or will I have to chase them into the wall?

Cheers

Seriously? You would modify the WALL rather than adjusting the pipes so that they are in the correct positions?
Not saying it is right or wrong, just seemed like a strange way of doing things?

No, it is WRONG to modify the wall.

It is RIGHT to adjust the pipes, either above or below the floor; the latter method being more even right.

Tough poo poo - excavate the concrete or rip up a £3k hardwood floor, whatever is necessary to get the right look.
