radiator valve Help please(with pic)

HI

I need to remove the radiator in the bathroom. It has only has a valve on 1 side of the rad. I have not removed this type before can someone please explain what i need to do.
I have turned the white cap to the off position do i need to do anything under the copper cap. Also if i do need to remove the copper cap does it screw off or do i prize it off.

Brass cap will unscrew (anticlockwise). Underneath will be a screwdriver slot (?) so screw that down fully shut. The valve will have a tail attached which will project into the radiator about 200mm or so, probably 8mm or 10mm tube. This can be pulled/unscrewed out of valve but must be replaced.

the cap is very stiff is there a knack of undoing it?
