Hi,

Does it matter which side of a radiator the flow and return are on.

On most of my rads in the house the flow is on the right hand side where the TVR is but on one of my rads i've noticed that the flow and return are round round the other way amd the flow goes into the left hand side where the lockshield is. Should i bother changing this around or does it not make much difference?

I'm draining the system to put another rad in another part of the house, so should take to long to fix, jst not sure whether it makes a deal or not.

thanks

Does not matter what side flow/return is but its better to have to trv on flow and lockshield on return even if the trv is bi-directional

i think its better to have the trv on the side which is the most airated ..ie not on the side of the rad thats under a curtain or in a corner
