hi people i no not many of you discuss price but i have decided to get a plumber in to remove radiators and move them a couple of inches as i have had new windows fitted 4 x radiators in total so the pipes need to be either extended or shortened depending and the bathroom rad needs to come of then replaced the next day once tiles are up i have been told its £15 p/h but he cant tell me how long it will take i understand that he might hit some probs but said he had no idea on time scale all i need is a rough timescale from all you experts out there.

At £15p/h he is not a plumber. There will be problems and meantime the meter keeps rolling up the pounds.

A proper plumber will give you a quoted time and should be £30- 40 p/h.

I'd estimate 2 half days so around £ 250 mark.

Sounds dear? wait to find out your final bill

Seriuosly get someone else

A plumber who is too cheap, and has no idea how long a job will take should be ringing some alarm bells.
