yes it is, but if it goes wrong

best to drain it and remove it

not hard

shut off the valves at each end to the rad.

crack the joint BETWEEN the Rad and the valve, but only enough to let the water dribble out into a bowl or summink

you may need to open the bleed poitn a WEE bit to facilitate the water

job done

failing that get someone who has done it before to do it for you
