Hi all, just in the process of draining our gravity fed heating system. First time doing it since moving into the house earlier this year.

There are 2 radiators downstairs with drain off pipes - one in the original part of the house and the other on the downstairs WC radiator which is part of the extension.

I have drained from the original house side radiator and opened up all bleed valves on rads upstairs (including extension side) and the valve on the UFH manifold...no issues

I got downstairs and 2 radiators in the living room and one in the hallway (original part of the house) plus the one in the downstairs WC dont seem to be draining as when I bleed them water comes out of the valve.

I guess I just need to repeat the process and drain from the WC rad next? but just a bit confused as to why they seem to be separate unless im missing something as surely they are all just heated from the single boiler system with water traveling through them all whilst heating is on?

UPDATE - So just started to drain the downstairs WC and draining fine, however the 2 radiators in the living room and one in the hallway are still full and not emptying? Lockshields and TRV's are open
