hi everyone, my sister in law has had a new tv arial fitted with a booster on it ??since then she gets an interferance on her radio,( sounds like marching ants) ?? anyone have idea whats wrong. thanks

hi everyone, my sister in law has had a new tv arial fitted with a booster on it ??since then she gets an interferance on her radio,( sounds like marching ants) ?? anyone have idea whats wrong. thanks

What aerial is she using for radio. Although a TV aerial is not a good aerial for Radio it will work. But once you fit a pre-amp it is likely to have a band pass filter to stop it from amplifying rubbish. So if you are using the same aerial for both radio and TV the amp will have disconnected the radio aerial.
