A rad is making a clicking kinda sound.... the heating is on... its pretty hot... is the sound normal or could there be a problem

well for start, is this a new house, or have you got any work done to he heating system lately???? has it just started??? sometimes those thermostatic radiator valves have to fitted on the flow side of the radiator or this problem has been known to occur, though most are two way nowdays. you could try to make sure the opposite side to the thermostatic rad valve is opened up slightly more. a thermostatic valve is one with a big white head , possibily with numbers on it. you will have to remove the cap and turn anti clockwise to open it. give it one full turn.
