Rain water in garden

it is not happening now.. but in the rainy season.. the rain water accumulate in the backyard of mine.. not a large one..but water make the grass a little bit marshy ..
I was thinking about digging a gutter line between the yard so the water may have a little space to leave the yard..

What are the other best option for that ?
