have recently purchased a victorian terrace house that had a small bricked extension made circa 20 years ago - it currrently houses the bathroom (which i plan to relocate upstairs) on the back of the kitchen - i wish to either knock through, installing patio doors - but this will require changing the pitch of the roof and installing some more runs of bricks - or knock the thing down completely and have slightly less floor space.

Any advice on how feasible either of these optins are would be useful. If I go down the demolition route, will a professional ** be able to remove all the 'toothed-in' bricks ?
