Randall 102 to Honeywell TM2 Wiring

Good morning all.

I’m Stu from Shropshire and I have been gleaning much from these forums to help my pathetic diy efforts.

I have come to replace my Randall decrepit controller with a shiny Honeywell.
I have a oil boiler with pumped hot water tank and hall wired thermostat.

I have looked around for equivalent wiring diagrams but they tend not to match mine.

So can anyone explain what goes where please?

Hi Stu,

Going from Randall to Honeywell

6 (Live) to L
5 (Neutral) to N
Earth to a connector block
3 - remove link as it’s not needed in the Honeywell
1 to 3
2 to 4

The Randall 102 if for gravity HW and pumped CH, if that is what you have, you will have to check the new honeywell is compatible and will have to be set to Gravity HW or it wont work

Hi, pumped pressurised HW system. Was gravity but system modernised .
Assume all ok then?
