Can anyone please advise ?

Yesterday, I replaced the diverter valve in my boiler, having had problems with DHW. I was only able to run hot water if the C/H was on. Now, after fitting the valve, the pilot light won't stay on.
The job was a bit fiddly but have managed to fit the valve OK and the boiler worked fine up until this point (apart from the DHW). I am thinking it might be the thermocouple now. Would it be OK for me to fit this or can anyone give me any pointers ?

Thanks in anticipation.

Did you disturb the thin gas pipe which would have got in your way, towards the front?

No, definately not Chris. I did not touch anything to do with the gas and the piolt light does come on as long as I keep the button depressed but it goes out when I let the button off, no matter how long I keep it pressed.

I have a similar problem please could you tell me where you got your divertor valve from and how much was it.
also the other problem you have sounds like a thermo couple . i had the same thing happen to me its really easy to replace takes about 20 mins.
