Hi guys

I have a Ravenheat RSF 820/20 boiler running my hot water and central heating.

The central heating water pressure sits at around 1 bar when the boiler is off.

When the boiler is running the central heating the pressure climbs to about 2.7 bar at full heat.

Is this normal or is there problem?

thanks
Tony

Seems a little high, the water expands as it gets hot thus increasing pressure. The prv on the boiler is set to 3 bar so as long as this is not opening you are fine

You have a problem with the expansion vessel (sometimes called the pressure vessel). Check the sticky reference topic for details.
