RCD for lights in one room keeps blowing.

Result.

The wire from the junction box to the transformer had burnt through. I think it had been routed too close to the lamp. Easy change, like for like and pushed everything through the hole as far as it would go.

Also as a result, once I had fixed the problem the switch started working again.
