How the fook did you manage to connect blue to earth.!
There are 6 neutral conns and 6 earth.

Are you sure that the M/V blue wire is in Neutral and not earth.

God only knows, As I have changed three of these damn things before and never had a problem, a moment of stupidity.

next time snip the cable going to the valve and use a junction box or even a 5 pin connector so you wont have to go into the junction box at all
