RCD trip

No, one RCD would trip the other, can't run RCD's in parallel. Any extension lead would require someone manually to swap over the supply, you can use a battery 1765118426945.png we call it an UPS, uninterruptible power supply, it can be portable as shown, limit around 2 kWh due to weight, or built in like mine, I have 6.4 kWh, and also charged from solar. But you're looking at £500 plus, is it worth it?

Could run a dedicated supply to freezers, but again the question is if worth it?

When I moved into this house, I had just lost three freezers full of food because the RCD had tripped in the last house while we were away, so I fitted all RCBO.

Hi E,
I see!
I could set up a switch-over in case of one RCD failing, but it's not worth it, the next time it could trip the main one instead.
Thanks, C.
