When i run shower cold it works alright until i turn shower to medium it trips RCD the shower is mira sports 9.0kw had it for 30 months. Can anyone help thanks.

RCD just for shower, or other parts of the house?

The load presented by a shower can cause an RCD to trip due to a N to E fault of a highish impedance. Day to day current flow through the RCD, and the RCD sits happily until the 'unusually high' current of the shower.....and then enough (30mA typically) of current flows from N to E through the high-imp fault, causing the RCD to operate.

More than likely your element though ;-)
