RDB motor testing

It is usual for a faulty RDB Control box to LOCK OUT after about 5-6 seconds

I would Repalce Photocell first, then the Solenoid coil
But of course if no 50Vac then its the Motor
I am 90% certain its NOT THE BOX

If OP Contacts Riello they produce a wonderfull fault finding flow chart which if followed will help you find any fault quickly

Bought a new motor today fitted it as most other conponents were tested and appered to be fine and she fired up no bother, fan was a bit of hardship trying to get it off the motor shaft but other than that it was grand. Can anyone advise me on if you get a call out to a breakdown and the burner is 15 to 20 years old would you be better off to advise the householder to renew there burner instead of repairing if its that old or would you go at and try to repair it?
