re-fixing parquet flooring

Help! Am looking for advice on re-laying a parquet floor. Floor was fitted in the 1960s on a complete bitumen base. approximately half the floor has now lifted, and needs re-fixing. Has anyone advice on what to use to re-fix loose blocks?
