I used B&Q Heavy Duty Grout Remover - it works alright but possibly there are better ways of getting the grout out. Other one is mechanically - Bosch All Rounder with appropriate blade.
In my bathroom is just removed surface grout (like 1mm). There were some holes and some of the grout did not keep at all so I dig it more to remove all the loose bits.
