hello
Existing ceramic tiled floor approx 7 years old souding hollow and some tiles have cracked. Existingsub floor is a solid concrete screed on concrete block and beam.
Decided to put a new floor down.
Started to lift old tiles which are coming up remarkably easy, light tap with bolster and whole tiles come up. Looks like the adhesive has stuck to the tile Ok, but not to the existing floor screed.
What Im left with is a clean floor screed but showing all the small aggregates and is very dusty etc. What would be the best thing to put onto the old screed surface before laying the new floor tiles?
I don't want the new floor to start to lift.
