I need to bleed a radiator but have been told that I will need to re-pressurise my potterton performa 28 combi boiler afterwards.

How do I do this, as the manual advises to call in a service engineer.

Look for a filling loop underneath the boiler. Kevplumb does a nice pic. of one, if he sees this. It's a silver flexible loop with valves at each end. You may need a screwdriver to open one or both valves (1/4 turn) just long enough to get pressure back up to between 1.0 and 1.5 bar max.

as you requested sir
