Hi,

I am retiling a kitchen wall, i have removed the old tiles to expose the brick wall behind.

The wall is now uneven with cement render and brick (see photo)

can i tile on top of this? and level with new adhesive as I go?

It doesn't look like more than a few mm of difference, so you should be fine to use adhesive to level it out. If any bits don't co-operate fully, you could build up a bit of adhesive, let it go off, then add a bit more and affix the tiles.

Remember to prime the wall prior to tiling!
