I'm asking you. Is it the behaviour you criticise, or the country of origin?

It is the behaviour of the country of receipt that I have problems with (in this case the UK).

Let me put a counterpoint - how many UK expats live abroad on the handouts of other countries? I suspect (and admit that I'm basing it on no evidence whatsoever!!)that it's probably a tiny number in comparison with those who relocated here - after all why else would they bother to come here if there were richer free pickings to be gleaned elsewhere?
