Hi Guys.
Hope this is the right section for this post ?

I have solid Oak floor which is now 3-4 years old and is starting to wear in some places and would like bring it back up to a more consistent colour like it originally was. It was bought from B & Q and is a coffee stained Colour.

I asked in B & Q about fixing it the other day but the assistant couldn't help.

Is there a good way of fixing this without sanding the whole floor and staining it again .
Stain , Dye, Nescafe ?

Thanks in Advance.
here is a pic of the floor . you can see the lighter more worn bits.

The picture shows it is a scraped floor, so sanding is indeed out of the question if you want to keep that particular look.

Stains and dyes need bare wood, so out of the question.

Depending on the original finish (oiled or lacquered) you could use a stained wax (wax-polish) - only if the floor had an oil finish.
