Real world vs theoretical hot water temperatures

So you know that your boiler is providing the expected hot water heating within the accepted accuracy of measurement.

So why not go and watch TV or read a book.

I've got a funny feeling your boiler is not performing well, why don't you just tell us what your problem actually is then we might be able to help .

It's working spot on (y) Although I have noticed something with it that is really dangerous that the supposed 'RGI' missed when he serviced it.

More dangerous than the owner who does DIY repairs?

Yes because the room seal of the boiler is compromised
Really? How could that have happened I wonder?
What is the difference between me removing and replacing the cover or one of you? There is 2 clips and 1 M6 bolt. It's not rocket science. I'm an EIM engineer by trade so I would say i'm capable of replacing the cover properly.

Jog on

One of the clips for the front panel is broken which means the whole panel can move back compromising the seal. I didn't find the broken part so who knows how long it's been like that for. The BG engineer obviously missed it.

I thought you'd say that. You can see staining from where air has been drawn through for God knows how many years. You wouldn't see this if I broke it the other day so why don't you jog on (y)

Ffs. You don't half talk some rubbish. Staining where air has been drawn through?

Even if fresh air stained. It wouldnt be drawn through the place indicated in your picture if the clip failed.

You're a muppet

I can't see any other explanation. Fresh air is not as clean as you think. The previous owners smoked like chimneys in the house as well. Everything was yellow and horrible.

Anyway back to the topic in hand @TCCHeating I noticed you completely avoided my question about the less than manual specified flow rate. You don't actually know do you? And you call me a muppet!
