Reminds me of a job I went to where the pump valve situated above a living room ceiling was leaking I was told that the heath robinson affair he had created had been that way for about 6 months! It consisted of a funnel under the valve poked through the ceiling. In the living room below he had attached a hosepipe which led through to his kitchen sink and was tied with a shoelace to one of the taps I cant knock the guy .... It worked for all that time !
