Hi,
If we knock down the old outside toilet and coal shed and rebuild with double skin etc do we need full planning for this or is it building regs.

As long as the outside toilet was built before 1946 or appears on original plans then you shouldn't be eating into your permitted development allowance. If you are not changing windows, doors...

Basically, show the plans to your Local Authority Planning Department and they will tell you if they need an application.

Alternatively, you could enlarge the outbuildings under permitted development
