Hi everyone, I'm getting a new gas connection done shortly and wondered if I have to exit via the spigot in the back of the recessed box?

I've cut out the hole for the box but don't want to waste my time cutting the hole for the spigot if I don't need to use it.

The gas will be coming from a LowPressure mains which afaik is the only type allowed to use the spigot.

Any feedback is much appreciated.

No.
If needed it can be cut any time............Ask your RGI !

Thanks for the feedback much appreciated, would I contact the people connecting the mains to the future meter or my soon to be gas supplier who will supply the meter?

Thanks again.
