Hi all, need advice about laying reclaimed pitch pine flooring square edged. It is 33/4 in wide and 22ml thick. Some is thicker than others. They are all random lengths up to about 12ft long. I am laying it on floor boards in front room, back room and hallway. But I have a problem in front room the the chimney breast has been taken out and been filled with concrete. In the back room I have had an extension built and where the floor boards end the concrete floor starts and it has been sand cement screeded. The screed has started break away and looks like little stone balls. I have a dewalt chop saw, table saw, router and a compressor. Could someone tell me how to lay it and what to do over the concrete and the concrete screed. Thanks carl.
