Recommend a sanitary silicone sealant

Hi

Any recommendations on which type / brand of silicone sealant to use? I need some to seal a shower waste, also to seal around a quadrant shower tray. i'm sure I read somewhere that clear is 'stronger' than the equivalent white? Is this true. I know I need an anti-fungicidal / mould variety but what is the general concensus for the best brand?

Is this the preferred choice of professional plumbers? Why is it better than the Unibonds etc you find in other DIY sheds?

Depends on particular application it is required for , I generally prefer this brand because it is a tried and well trusted product,no other reason .

As the guy says, Dow Corning 785, you can get from Travis Perkins...forget unibond, I had awful trouble making this stick to my plastic bath...785 did the trick....i'd never use anything else.

Dunlop silicone. More expensive, but would highly reccommend it.
