Recommendations for new wooden sash windows

Hi there

I'm looking to replace two windows (one in kitchen, one in ensuite), which unfortunately at some time in the past 100 years have been replaced by horrid single-glazed flip open ones.

I'd like to return to sashes, but of course buildings regs mean they have to be double glazed, which seems to be hard to find in wooden sash windows. I wouldn't mind spring loaded ones, rather than weights and pulleys

Can anyone recommend any providers please?

I have just ordered some new double glazed hardwood sash windows to replace my bay window.

I had over 20 companies round to quote and went with http://www.thewoodenwindowcompany.co.uk
They are based in Hampshire, but are always up in London doing quotes.

Before I ordered, I went down to their factory in Andover to see them making windows.

They were not the cheapest and certainly not the dearest.
