Red wine of the day.

Lager is cold for a reason, WS. It is utterly undrinkable otherwise.

Aye. It wasn't quite what I was expecting, but I thought it may help as we were there in winter. The bison grass vodka proved much more successful as a way of thawing out.

When I worked down in north Devon in the early seventies we used to go in a pub in Ilfracombe called the "Three Tons" or the "3's" as it was called locally, they sold NDC (natural dry cider on draught) made at Norton Fitzwarren we used to call it "Natch". We used to go in there and have a few pints and was "rock n' rollin" afterwards. But if anyone came in who were on holiday or the barman didn't know he would only serve them a half pint and that was it!!! We also used to buy it by the bottle, and it did the same job!! Wild times workin' in hotels in Devon and Cornwall in the seventies..Now a wine drinker and a beer drinker (not so much a pub man now more of a home drinker), like as has been said plenty of great choice at the super markets for good up and comin' breweries to ply their wares ;)
