Hi
Had this shower only about a year after the last identical shower only lasted 3 years, it is only warm and no neon for the heater is coming on, when I look at our electricity monitor it shows only pulling around 4 kilowatt when shower is on full power setting. I bought this second one last year for a simple switch but can't believe it's having problems already, I'm wondering if it is limescale build up as redring now do a 350s that has phased shut down to prevent limescale build up, that is the shower I'm thinking of getting as a simple switch again and hopefully it will last longer this time having this new feature. Can anyone think of anything else it could be based on what is happening ? Could it be anything to do with with he thermal cut out or am I right thinking it would not work full stop if that was the issue ? It comes on no problem only gets slightly warm with no neon and turns off ok
Any suggestions much appreciated
Cheers

The manual in this link shows that one half of the heating element and the neon are commoned up, and are connected to one pole of the pressure switch. I would surmise that either the switch is faulty or you have a broken/fried internal wiring connection. Opening the case up should reveal all.

Hi
Thanks for reply, just had a look and the pressure switch looks a bit ropey, touched it and when I put cover on and turned it on it lit up, had a shower with it but when dodgy after when trying wash around shower. I see I could get one for about 15quid delivered, are they an easy change as access doesn't look brilliant for screws and do you have to isolate water? If shower has to come off wall I might buy a new one anyway, what are your thoughts ?

Cheers
