refilling and bleeding radiators.

Hi we have a condensing boiler and i need to put two double rads back on the wall, do i open the valves on the rads bleed them and then top up the system or is this wrong also can any body tell me what to put on the rad threads before i make the connection. thanks

If your boiler is a combi then you'll need to pressurise, bleed the rads, repressurise again until the job is done - finally setting the pressure to 1 bar or thereabouts.
If its an open vented system, the tank in the loft should refill the system as you bleed.
For the rad connections, if they've been used before, you'll probably get by with a smear of jet Blue sealant or similar.
