Reform in meltdown

We've got 3 main parties left of centre all holding different shades of radical and liberal ideology and policy.

What is the problem with having another party to the right of centre? It'll still be 3 to 2. I don't know what everybody thinks is unfair about this.
Like Truss.

There is a lot doomsaying on this thread with regards to Reform.
Yes, some abhor Farage and what he stands for. I don't think anyone has claimed it is unfair to have a right of centre party per say.

I despise everything the far right stand for.

I can see why people feel they have to give them a chance following the perceived failures of neo-liberalism since 2008 but the real failure is the attempt to maintain the status quo in the widening inequality gap, allowing the far right to flourish in deprived areas, while amplifying their message through the internet which has supercharged the rise of people like Farage.

You get the government you deserve and if people are prepared to vote this charlatan into #10 then you may look upon his works...and despair.

I think we can all agree that Reform should easily win the by election. If they don't, they will have lost all credibility.

John Major and Tony Blair were roughly in the centre. I would say this Labour are now slightly to the right of Blair. And these Tories are way to the right of John Major.

nah. There are a handful of left centralists in the Labour Party, the rest are frustrated lefties, annoyed that it took the meltdown of the tories for them to get power and that as soon as they start rolling out leftie nonsense it will be snatched back again. Meanwhile the Tories have given up and decided to go to sleep for a few years.

It doesn't matter why they are governing centrally. The fact is that they are.

I'm sure they are very grateful for the opportunity. But soon enough that gratitude will fade and the squabbling will start.

With punchy mike out of the running and decent list of ex-labour MPs who want to be Labour MPs again. I don't think that is a certainty. I'm not sure you can link all their credibility to that seat.

The media might try!
