Reform lead the polls

You will almost certainly need a Carnet if: - Your race car is being transported by a team. - You are racing for financial or business gain. - You are carrying a quantity of spares and tools for the race car considered by an official to require a Carnet.
Game, set and match.

If Two Tier wants to leave any kind of sensible legacy, a good start will be working with The EU to undo some of the burdens of Brexit and free up movement of goods across The Channel. Here's hoping he'll do something productive that will actually be positive for growth.

You do understand there are various levels of rallying from clubman right up to international teams?

No, i didn't think you did.
Can you just clear up one thing for me? These teams or individuals that competed in rallies in Europe, just turned up with their car on a trailer but used to rely on unpaid volunteers like yourself to take time off work and make your own way there under your own steam, bringing a fully fitted service vehicle complete with tools and accessories and since the U.K. left the EU, they also now expect you to deal with the paperwork side of things as well as paying for any charges. Have I got that right?

It's clear that those on a budget can just trailer their car, a few spares, consumables and tools, will have no problem as long as they make the correct oral declaration. Of course those perhaps naively helping out a well funded professional race team, competing for prize money, with sponsorship, will need to sort some additional paperwork. Those in the middle, have the option of winging it and paying the fine if they are asked or applying for the carnet using the appropriate discount.

Some I got paid for, some I did free (usually for beginners and novice level)

Difficult to understand helping people have fun?

I'm at a position where I pick and choose what work I do and trotting off for a working holiday was always good fun. Take the wife, have a few days in whatever land and then return.

I sometimes earn on the car prep and repair for a few that I then give my time to help to compete.

It's called living . Try it sometime

Why don't you give up.

It's not clear. I have reposted the very links you send, which prove you wrong !

But now, they can FRO? Ok. Seems to me you can still go wherever with the wife and watch those events but now without all the hassle of being a dogsbody, all courtesy of Brexit. Looks to me like a Brexit bonus for you.

But now, they can FRO? Ok.
No

Now they make other arrangements.

I still sometimes go in a car to help out. But can you understand the difference between helping and having a kitted out workshop with tools and compressor and generator etc

Let them worry about the workshop, compressor and generator. You just go and enjoy yourself. Like I said, a hassle free holiday with the wife now, courtesy of Brexit. You’re welcome.

So you now agree at last.

Brexit is the reason some of these beginners and novices, and higher levels also are facing increased aggro and costs to get support to compete. Or in some cases, they no longer compete in Europe and just stay in UK. I wonder if you understand what that does long term, on a bigger scale, to experience and competitiveness

Not everything in life (mine anyway) is about making money. I find it good to help others get started.

But I'm not a selfish little englander
