Reform party ditch all the tax cuts they promised

Why do we pay more than other countries do for electricity (and indeed for everything else)? Because most of that money doesn't go on the actual electricity, it goes on the government's unnecessary pet projects, which are always purportedly concerned with helping the poor people of other countries, and never of benefit to the British who voted for said government. This is the communism that I often mention. Britain's modern governments have been effectively communist, transferring tax revenues to "worthy" causes. Look at Hungary's electricity price in the graph compared to Britain's. Hungary's government is emphatically patriotic and does not let immigrants in.

and whats the reason its higher?

1) UKs energy prices are 100% tagged to gas

2) UKs energy is totally private

3) UK has very little gas storage -in fact we have to pipe it to Germany to store



So the claim our energy prices are massively higher due to net zero are just rancid hogwash


But you believed June the Gammon, because it you couldnt be bothered to think about it
