Maybe he has worked out that single women with more than two kids can vote.
He's a populist and wants to be all things to all men and women.
He needs the support of all sections of society to get a landslide victory, the working class have different priorities from big businesses and the rich.
His base is made up of dissatisfied voters from different parties, working class supporters want immigration stopped and better access to housing and health services.
The Business classes and rich want less regulation and tax cuts, these groups have benefitted from immigration and cheap labour and may want it to continue.
Nigel has to reconcile these competing expectations with reality but luckily his supporters are more motivated by emotion than reality.
